The present investigation had as general objective to compare the levels of sense of coherence in users of the health centers of San Jerónimo and Livitaca Cusco 2022. The study was carried out under a quantitative approach with a descriptive - comparative scope and non-experimental cross-sectional design. ; in a sample of 321 people in the urban area and 68 in the rural area, to whom the SOC-29 Sense of Coherence Scale evaluation instrument was applied, adapted in the Puno region and which was subjected to expert judgment for the study population. The results of the comparative analysis indicate that there is a statistically significant difference in the sense of coherence in rural and urban areas (P=0.000). It was also found that there is no statistically significant difference in the other items such as age, sex, marital status, educational level and religion. Regarding the descriptive analysis, the participants primarily present a medium sense of coherence in both populations and in terms of their dimensions significance, manageability and understandability; They present a medium level. Concluding in this way first that regardless of sex, age, religion, marital status and level of education, people used the different tools of their environment to respond to the pandemic; As a second conclusion, we found that people from the rural area had a better coping with the pandemic than the urban area, since the latter needed more adaptation to a different lifestyle.
