This research establishes the relationship between learning strategies and academic achievement in students in the fifth cycle of professional academic program in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Andina del Cusco 2010-II semester. The type and the research design is descriptive, correlational, the aim being to determine the degree of relationship between variables Learning Strategies and Academic Performance. The population consists of all students in the fifth cycle of the Academic Program Professional Engineering of the Universidad Andina Cusco 2010-II semester, taking a total of 52 students, taking this as the target population, who were administered the questionnaire ACRA, which contains: information acquisition strategies, data encryption support information retrieval and processing of information, adding a questionnaire made up some strategies for information and communication technologies, which was validated by experts. This instrument allowed us to identify the correlation between variables Learning Strategies and Academic Performance in the population in question. The results found a significant correlation of 0.21% between Learning Strategies and Academic Performance, found that students in the fifth cycle of the Professional Program in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Andina Cusco 2010-II semester, they are using strategies learning the best way, which adversely affects their academic performance.
