The present study entitled reading habits and reading comprehension in students of the professional school of stomatology of the Universidad Andina del Cusco 2019-I, aims to determine how reading habits influence the reading comprehension of the students of the professional school of stomatology of the Universidad Andina del Cusco. The study is of basic substantive quantitative scope since we look for the characteristics that the students of the professional school of stomatology have in terms of reading habits and to be able to submit them to an analysis, in the same way the study has correlational scope since they leave to associate the results measured by the variables reading habits and reading comprehension and finally to know the relationship that exists between both variables. The research is of a non-experimental design of a descriptive correlational type, the study population is the students enrolled in the 2019-I semester of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Universidad Andina del Cusco, the number of students enrolled is 516 being our sample 119. Determine and analyze the way in which reading habits influence reading comprehension in the professional school of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco 2019-I. It is concluded from the results that the reading habits variable with respect to the reading comprehension variable present a high and direct correlation reaching the value 0.798, which implies that the greater the reading habit, the better results for comprehension. reader.
