The present research titled “family social climate and emotional intelligence in adolescents at the Secondary level of an educational institution, Cusco – 2022” had as its main objective to identify the relationship between the variable, family social climate and emotional intelligence. The study has a descriptive importance. - Correlational, the sample consisted of 164. For this research, the Family Social Climate (FES) tests and the Bar-On emotional intelligence inventory were used. (I-CE), Spearman's Rho correlation statistical test to measure correlation in these variables. According to the data collected, it is stated that there is a moderate and significant positive relationship between both variables where Rho = .207** with P = 0.008 which indicates that we reject Ho and accept H1. which means that the results are statistically significant, so that as the family environment improves, so does the level of emotional intelligence of the adolescents. In summary, the findings suggest that the quality of the family social climate has a significant effect on the development of emotional intelligence
