The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the levels of burnout syndrome and the levels of family functioning in housewives users of the Hospital Túpac Amaru in the district of San Sebastián, Cusco -2023. A quantitative approach of descriptive- correlational scope with a non-experimental-cross-sectional design was used, and the selected population consisted of 2646 housewife users, where the sample applied was 336 housewife users who met the inclusion criteria. The CUBAC and FACES III questionnaires were used for data collection. The results obtained show the existence of 37.5% in high levels of burnout syndrome in the housewife users, these results are accompanied by 43.2% in the extreme level of family functioning, which represents a predisposing type of family which is the rigid unattached family. At an inferential level, the existence of a significant relationship between the levels of burnout syndrome and the levels of family functioning was visualized with a 95% reliability (value: 92.979, gl 4 and p=0.000), therefore the findings found facilitate the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis and thus discard the null hypothesis.
