This research had the main objective of establishing the relationship between environmental noise and the influence on the health of the workers of the “Hilario Mendívil” project of the COPESCO Plan. The research is basic, with a quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional correlational level and a non-experimental design. As part of the methodology in this study, a count of noise sources in the project area was carried out. Likewise, noise monitoring was carried out at six points in the project area and surveys were applied to all project workers. As a result, the main noise generating source is mobile sources, with heavy and light vehicles that travel continuously and permanently through the study area, when measuring the Sound Pressure Level (NPS) in the area of the study. project, at the different monitoring points, an average was obtained that varies between 61,2 and 76,2 dB during the morning and between 60,9 and 75,8 dB in the afternoon, exceeding the Environmental Quality Standard for noise (ECA) of a Residential zoning that has a limit of 60 dB during daytime, it was also identified how environmental noise in the project area influences the mental and physical health of workers. From the study there is a significant relationship between environmental noise and mental health; however, no significant relationship was found with their physical health. This could be determined through the Wilcoxon test and the Kruskal-Wallis test.
