Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has left a profound mark on the health of millions of people worldwide. As we move into the post-pandemic period, it is crucial to understand the long-term sequelae left by the virus, especially in those patients who experienced severe pulmonary symptoms. Objective: To assess the impact of pulmonary sequelae from SARS- COV-2 on the quality of life of patients at the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco during the year 2022. Methods: Following an observational type, with a quantitative approach, a cross- sectional and retrospective study and an analytical study method, the sample was made up of 110 patients from the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco, divided into 2 groups, a case group with 36 patients and a control group with 74. patients. Results: 110 surveys were applied, of which it was divided into two groups at a 1:2 ratio; where the findings were that the predominant age was between 27 to 59 years, with a greater prevalence of female sex; The most frequent symptom as a pulmonary sequela after SARS-COV-2 infection is fatigue, followed by cough. A moderate negative impact and correlation was demonstrated between pulmonary sequelae and quality of life; In addition, with pulmonary sequelae there is a 3 times greater risk of having a low quality of life. Conclusions: The evaluation of the impact of pulmonary sequelae due to SARS-COV-2 on the quality of life of patients at the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco in the period 2022 revealed a significant impact on several aspects of daily life.
