Ansiedad ante los exámenes en estudiantes preuniversitarios de la Academia Galileo, Cusco – 2018.

Abstract

El estudio busca conocer los niveles de ansiedad ante los exámenes en estudiantes preuniversitarios de la Academia Galileo del Cusco, para esto se aplicó el Inventario de Autoevaluación de la Ansiedad ante Exámenes (Idase) compuesto por 20 ítems a l70 estudiantes de sexo femenino y 158 estudiantes de sexo masculino, haciendo un total de 328 estudiantes. El alcance de la investigación es descriptivo, de diseño no experimental. Se concluyó que los estudiantes de la Academia Galileo presentan un nivel de ansiedad moderado ante los exámenes, así mismo muestran un nivel moderado en ambos factores, emocionalidad y preocupación de la ansiedad ante los exámenes. Los estudiantes de la modalidad de ingreso de primera oportunidad presentan mayor nivel de ansiedad que los estudiantes de otras modalidades, así mismo los estudiantes de ordinario presentan mayor nivel en el factor emocionalidad que los estudiantes de otras modalidades, y los estudiantes de primera oportunidad presentan mayor nivel en el factor preocupación que los de otras modalidades. Por otro lado los estudiantes de sexo masculino presentan mayor nivel de ansiedad que las estudiantes de sexo femenino. Así mismo en los factores emocionalidad y preocupación, los estudiantes del sexo masculino presentan mayor nivel que las estudiantes de sexo femenino.

The study seeks to know the levels of anxiety before the exams in pre-university students of the Galileo Academy of Cusco, for this the Inventory of Self-Assessment of Examination Anxiety (Idase) composed of 20 items was applied to l70 female students and 158 students male, making a total of 328 students. The scope of the research is descriptive, non-experimental design. It was concluded that the students of the Galileo Academy present a moderate level of anxiety before the exams, likewise they show a moderate level in both factors, emotionality and worry of the anxiety before the exams. The students of the modality of entrance of first opportunity present / display greater level of anxiety than the students of other modalities, likewise the students of ordinary present / display greater level in the emotional factor that the students of other modalities, and the students of first opportunity present / display major level in the concern factor than those in other modalities. On the other hand, male students have a higher level of anxiety than female students. Likewise, in the factors of emotionality and worry, male students present a higher level than female students.
