This research was carried out using an experimental methodology, which consisted in the production of non-structural concrete blocks with commercial dimensions 40cm x 20cm x 12cm. The concrete blocks were elaborated adding different percentages of aluminum sawdust for a maximum size that was the mesh n ° 8, these percentages added to the concrete blocks were of 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5% and 3.0% about to the average weight of the block pattern. During the manufacturing process of the concrete blocks, the semi-industrial process was considered for manufacturing in a block using metal molds installed on a vibrating table, and cured by a constant irrigation. The concrete blocks were subjected to physical-mechanical tests such as resistance to compression, warping, dimensional variation, density and absorption to compare them against the physical-mechanical properties of a block pattern and against the minimum requirements of the Peruvian Technical Standard. E.070. According to the results obtained, in chapter IV it was demonstrated that when adding 2.0% of aluminum sawdust to concrete blocks, its compressive strength reaches 51.53 kg / cm2, which is very similar to those of the standard block. they reach 53.23kg / cm2, which when compared they have a difference of 3.19%, conversely when added in 1.5%, 2.5% and 3.0% of aluminum sawdust, the compressive strength decreased compared to the standard block , they reaching the compressive strength at 44.20 kg / cm2, 32.72 kg / cm2, 30.79 kg / cm2 respectively. Regarding the tests of warpage, density and absorption, results were obtained that are below the established in the NTP E.070, but in terms of the dimensional variation of the blocks, they met the required parameters except for the test done for its height in terms of the standard block (0%) and the one added with 1.5%, which resulted in 4.57% and 4.87% respectively; It should be noted that the parameters specified by NTP E.070 for non-bearing concrete blocks (NP) are; in terms of compressive strength (f'b) it is 20 kg / cm2, for dimensional variation it is (± 4)%, for warping it is 8mm and for absorption 15% up.
