The present research has as its main objective: to evaluate the influence of the percentage added steel sprayed into the physical behavior (Dimensional Change, Warp) and Mechanical (Compression Test, Modulus of Rupture); according to the NORMA TÉCNICA PERUANA E.070 ALBAÑILERÍA. The unit masonry King Kong 18 holes, which is the best selling and is produced in the Sector of San Jeronimo - Cusco. The sand and clay Sucso-Aucaylle quarry in the area of San Jeronimo, potable water, and powdered steel structural steel from: The following components are used for the development of this new unit. analyzed characteristics: granulometry and soil classification of the raw material; Plastic Index and the mass of the masonry unit, since according to Hector Gallegos and Carlos Casabonne, is considered important plastic dough consistency. Processed units, physical and mechanical behavior of masonry units King Kong 18 holes with addition percentage by weight (dry weight of the standard unit) of powdered steel was evaluated; 1%, 3% and 6%; about the standard unit. Of studies it was observed that the addition of 1% by weight of powdered steel, increased warpage values, modulus of rupture, crushing strength and suction; and it decreased absorption feature. Finally; with the addition of powdered steel, the unit managed to ascend classification; Class IV to Class V, according to the leaderboard masonry units for structural purposes of the NORMA TÉCNICA PERUANA E.070 ALBAÑILERÍA. This is the case of King Kong masonry unit 18 holes with addition of 1% by weight of powdered steel, which reached a characteristic compressive strength of 194.61 kg / cm2 (19.08 MPa), beating the unit pattern in 44.44 kg / cm2 (4.36 MPa), and values of pitch and variation in dimension within regulatory parameters, ranking brick Class V (very high strength and durability. Suitable for masonry buildings in particularly harsh conditions of service).
