The present work: “INFLUENCE OF THE QALI WARMA PROGRAM IN THE NUTRITIONAL STATE IN CHILDREN OF FIRST GRADE OF THE JOSE MARIA ARGUEDAS KCAURI EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION, CCATCCA DISTRICT, 2017“ The objective of this study was to determine the influence of the Qali Warma program on the nutritional status of school children at the José María Arguedas Kcauri educational institution, 2017. The methodological design that was used in this research work was descriptive and longitudinal; the population was made up of the first grade children of the José María Arguedas Educational Institution, kcauri, 2017. The sample consisted of 59 children. The technique used was the interview and observation and the instrument was the survey and the evaluation form. The conclusions were, within the general characteristics of children; 68% of the children are 7 years old, 73% are male, 47% of the children come from the Kcauri, 76% the mothers had complete primary education, 49% of the mothers are housewives, 79% of the parents are cohabiting, 57% of the parents have an economic income lower than 750 soles, 43% of the foods rich in fat are consumed at least 3 to 4 times a week by the children, 56% of the food protein-rich is consumed 3 to 4 times a week by children, 59% of carbohydrate-rich foods are consumed every day by children, 49% of high-fiber foods are consumed every day by children . Regarding the nutritional status, 87% of the children evaluated with the weight / age indicator are within the normal parameters, 89% have normal P / T, as for the T / E, 64% of the children have a normal size
