Knowing the accelerated growth of the Automotive Fleets, the accesses to the Cusco’s city center, have been subjected to a lot of conditions, generally modifying the control devices, that’s why this investigation is proposing a restrictive measure for traffic in the selected corridor in order, to demonstrate how does the level of service vary by reducing the number of vehicles on the road infrastructure at peak hours, simulating traffic in 3 scenarios: unrestricted scenario (normal / natural scenario), another scenario of reduction of vehicular flow by 50% and the last scenario with reduction of vehicular flow by 20% depending on the day of circulation and the license plate number of the user vehicles; at the same time, the variation of the environmental pollution indices by processes under standard will be obtained. The research proposes the analysis of the CUCAR road corridor (Av. Collasuyo, Av. Universitaria, Av. de la Cultura, Av. Argentina & Calle Retiro) in three different scenarios, the first under current conditions, the second in a scenario with 20% vehicle restriction and a third scenario with 50% vehicle restriction. The research was carried out through capacity cards, surveys on the type of fuel in the vehicles, geometric characteristics of the road, and traffic light characteristics of the road, which will provide us with information regarding the vehicles that circulate on the road, corridor, number of pedestrians, and road geometry. . For the analysis of the level of service, travel times and road capacity, the traffic simulation software used PTV Vissim 2021 was used.
