The objective of this research was to determine the degree of association (relationship) between the variables of road maintenance management by service levels and level of user satisfaction of the “Ilo - Reparticion” road of the IIRSA Sur Peru - Brazil Interoceanic Road Corridor section n ° 5 Matarani port - Azángaro and Ilo port - Juliaca. The road under study is under concession and is supervised by service levels, which are minimum standards that the road must have and that, if they are not complied with, are penalized in the monthly payments made to the concessionaire, the latter being the one who must make efforts to maintain the road according to the conditions stipulated in the concession contract. The study was non-experimental and correlational. To carry out this research, it was determined that the population was 1,244 road users and that the sample calculated using the statistical formula for finite populations was 64 road users Ilo - Repartición. to whom two survey questionnaires were applied, both referred to the two study variables. Subsequently, due to the conservation modality carried out, the global service level and the IRI measurement of the road under study were calculated following the methodology described in the concession contract for the construction, conservation and exploitation of section No. 5 of the road corridor project interoceanic south Peru - Brazil. As results, a predominant trend of acceptance between intermediate and high of users was obtained of the conditions presented by the road as a consequence of the execution or not of routine and periodic maintenance activities, as well as a perception of compliance with the level of service of the road by users, information that is supported by the calculation of the road's global service level, which exceeds the minimum threshold stipulated in the concession contract. These results, subjected to non-parametric correlation tests, had as a conclusion a value of 0.909 and a bilateral significance of 0.000, thus concluding that there is sufficient statistical evidence to affirm that road maintenance management by service levels is directly related and significant with the level of user satisfaction of the “Ilo - Reparticion” road.
