This research analyzed the impact of migration from the rural area to the Province of Cusco and the factors of attraction of the destination area and the factors of expulsion from the area of origin, considering income, employment, and access to services as main variables. First, we describe the problem based on the study variables: Attraction and expulsion factors (push-pull factors), consequently we propose as an objective the analysis of the impact that rural-urban migration generated on the economic growth of the Province of Cusco in the period corresponding to the investigation. Second, we propose and define the descriptive correlational type as a research methodology with a quantitative, non-experimental and longitudinal approach. An econometric model was developed to determine the level of correlation of each of the variables. The empirical evidence confirmed that rural-urban migration has a positive impact on economic growth in the province of Cusco, in addition to a strong correlation (96%), regarding the specific models in the case of the attraction factors: employment, income and access to basic services in the destination area the results also confirm a direct relationship and a positive correlation close to 100% (98%, 94%, 99% respectively), the expulsion factors: employment, income and access to services Basics of the area of origin confirmed an inverse relationship and a positive correlation (99%, 94%, 99% respectively). Which allowed to conclude the hypotheses raised in the present research work.
