Background: One in four people suffer from Dentin Hypersensitivity, affecting the oral health of patients and consequently the quality of life of people. Fluoride varnishes are a good option for dentin hypersensitivity in conservative dentistry, allowing them to inhibit dentin hypersensitivity of dentin tubules and improve the patient's quality of life. Method: A pre-experimental study with a quantitative, longitudinal, prospective and simple-blind approach was carried out. The sample was equal to the population of 60 patients, the study was carried out in compliance with the established inclusion and exclusion criteria, four groups of 15 people were selected, for the application of each varnish with a total of 60 people, RG1: Bifluorid Group 10, RG2 Clinpro, RG3: Profluorid Varnish, RG4: Placebo, To obtain the degree of dentin hypersensitivity, it was measured by VAS and application of stimuli (air, cold and touch). Relative isolation was performed only on premolars with grade 1 dentin hypersensitivity and the varnishes were applied according to the manufacturers' instructions. Two applications of the fluoride varnish were performed on the patients on day 1 and day 30; HD was measured from the 1st day, 2nd day, 15th day, 30th day, until the 31st day where the last evaluation of dentin hypersensitivity is made, obtaining initial VAS values, VAS 24 hours of 1 day, VAS 15 days, VAS 30 days and EVA 24 hours of 30 days correspondingly Results: it was obtained that there are no differences (P>0.05) between the decrease in Hypersensitivity in the 3 varnishes studied in VAS INCIAL of the stimuli between groups. There are differences (P <0.05) in the analyzes 24 hours after the start, 15 days, 30 days, 24 hours after 30 days, indicating that all varnishes differ from placebo in a statistically significant way, that is, all varnishes already make a difference with the placebo. Conclusions: It was determined that the degree of dentin hypersensitivity to the application of the three varnishes decreased from moderate pain (3-5) to mild pain (1-2), with no statistical differences in the effectiveness of pain reduction (p> 0.05).
