Nowadays, food court’s restaurants of Real Plaza Cusco are branches of national and international chains that are managed centrally, which generates a deficiency in the creation of strategies and objectives focused on the customer and based on the sociocultural factors from the local context. The present study entitled “Sociocultural Factors and Purchase Decision of customers from the food court’s restaurants of Real Plaza, Cusco, 2023”, aimed to determine the degree of relation between the sociocultural factors and the purchase decision of customers from the food court’s restaurants of Real Plaza Cusco, 2023. For that purpose, a quantitative research was conducted, on the non-experimental design and the correlational scope. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire on a statistical sample of 384 customers from the food court’s restaurants of Real Plaza Cusco. The results of various statistical tests demonstrated a significant positive correlation between the variable sociocultural factors and the variable purchase decision, showing with Pearson's chi-squared test that there is a significant relation with a p-value < 0.0001. Also, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient evidence, with a significant p-value and the Rho = 0.7533, which is a significant positive correlation. In addition, the linear regression analysis confirmed that there is a statistical slope coefficient of 0.698. Finally, the multivariate regression analysis showed that 63.2% of the variability of purchase decision is explained by the set of dimensions of sociocultural factors. It was concluded that the consumers of the food court’s restaurants of Real Plaza Cusco are influenced by their sociocultural factors, that is, the people around them, their family and their friends.
