We formulate the problem: how is the management of referrals and counter obstetric patients treated at the health center Pisac cusco 2014? The research is descriptive, quantitative design, not experimental. Taking as General Objective: To determine the handling of referrals and counter obstetric patients treated at the health center Pisac Cusco 2014. The study variables are sociodemographic and reproductive characteristics, management and cross-references; The study population consisted of 65 stories told with reference and counter. Having as results the following: age predominates is 20 to 35 years old with 60%, patients have secondary education with 63.1%, according to marital status was observed that 67.7% are cohabiting, from a 55.4% of the rural area. It is noted that the method is most prevalent naturally with 56.9%; much of attended births were institutional. Most patients were primiparous. Who makes the coordination of references is the doctor with a 83.1% and 6.9% was the Obstetrician. As for the diagnosis most referred is that of abortions. It was also noted that filling, sent counterreferral formats is done by the doctor but only 21.5% of these reach the health facility. Coming to the conclusion that all references made have been justified in terms of counter-it showed that only 21.5% of formats reach the health facility.
