This research work addresses a case study, which contrasts the degree of efficiency achieved by the operation of the typical urban public transport vehicle unit (TPU) of the C4M line, with the level of satisfaction perceived by users using this line, so the results are not intended to be widespread for the total problem of Urban Public Transport in the city of Cusco. The information used is primary in nature, where an interview is applied based on the typical vehicle maintenance program and the application given to it by carriers; and, for users in the application of a Likert satisfaction survey, which was treated using the Enveloping Data Analysis (DEA) method. The results lead to identifying a direct relationship between efficiency and satisfaction, because when the owner performs the most maintenance activities and therefore higher expense, the typical unit is more efficient; which relates to a higher level of user satisfaction, which does not perceive in these cases disturbances in the service of the C4M line. In addition, it is found that the carriers that perform the best maintenance achieve the best revenue since they do not have the problem of the immobilization of the unit due to technical inefficiencies, which then disturb the satisfaction of users.
