The present research has been oriented to determine the relationship betweenaddiction to social networks and characterological personality types in students of 4th and 5th grade of secondary school of the Mateo Pumacahua Emblematic College of Sicuani,2020. Having a sample of 273 students between men and women of 14 to 19 years of age,to whom the Gastón Berger Addiction Questionnaire and CharacterologicalQuestionnaire were applied. This research corresponds to a quantitative approach of descriptive-correlational scope, not causal of non-experimental transectional design;where the results were performed using Chi Square, which showed that there is no relationship between addiction to social networks with characterological personalitytypes, there are no differences in terms of age, sex and grade, nor is there a relationship between dimensions of addiction to social networks with the characterological types. Reaching the conclusion that the variable is independent and that the students present amedium level of addiction to social networks and predominant in types of phlegmatic,amorphous and nervous character.
