Tourism is one of the economic activities that has had an important growth in recent years, making this industry attractive for its development in countries with tourism potential, such as Peru. The tourist attractions of the Livitaca District are the Warari Grottos, the Chulpas Funerarias of Chiñisiri and Maukalivitaca, which have a rich Natural, Cultural, Archaeological and Folkloric heritage, however, these tourist attractions are not being promoted so much at a Regional or National level, allowing these tourist attractions to disappear in the future. The objective of this research work is to determine how the promotion of tourist attractions contributes to the diversification of tourism in the District of Livitaca, Province of Chumbivilcas. The methodology applied in the research work is of the correlational type of quantitative approach and non-experimental design, for which a questionnaire was applied to the three entities in charge of promoting tourist attractions, such as: The Municipality of Livitaca, The Municipality Provincial of Chumbivilcas and DIRCETUR (Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism), for which we propose the creation of a new tourist circuit called “Ruta Warari - Livitaca“, where we offer these tourist attractions of the District of Livitaca, Province of Chumbivilcas. The results obtained from the research work were that the tourist promotion of the tourist attractions does contribute significantly to the diversification of tourist offer in the district of Livitaca, Province of Chumbivilcas.
