The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between business management and the competitiveness of Mypes in the district of Sicuani, located in the province of Canchis, department of Cusco, 2023. The methodology used adopted a quantitative approach with a descriptive level of research. and correlational. The research design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational. The target population consisted of 4,425 active Mypes in the Sicuani district, from which a sample of 354 Mypes was selected for the survey. A Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.880 was obtained for the items related to the business management variable and 0.827 for the items related to the competitiveness variable, which indicates an acceptable level of reliability. The technique used was the survey, and the instrument used was a questionnaire. The collected data were processed and analyzed using SPSS software. The results revealed a significantly positive correlation between business management and competitiveness in commercial Mypes in the Sicuani district, with a correlation coefficient of Kendall's Tau_b of 0.482, indicating a weak but positive relationship. It was observed that 70.6% of the 250 businessmen surveyed carry out efficient business management. The business management process is executed efficiently according to the dimensions studied, with an average efficiency of 54.2% in planning, 52.0% in organization, 49.7% in direction and 48.6% in control. Regarding the determination of competitiveness, it was found that service quality (3.69), productivity (3.78) and competitive advantage (3.71) are the main determinants. Therefore, competitiveness (3.73) is at an efficient level in MSEs. Furthermore, a significant relationship between planning and competitiveness was confirmed using the Chi-square test (p=0.000<0.05), which supports the proposed hypothesis. In conclusion, it is stated that there is a relationship between business management and competitiveness in commercial Mypes in the Sicuani district.
