The current investigation was proposed, with the objective of determining if there is a statistically significant association between occupational noise and stress in workers of the hot asphalt plant of Oropesa 2020, for which the execution was carried out in the first instance with the visits to the asphalt plant to obtain information on the tasks that are carried out and the work areas, later an analysis plan of the sampling points was carried out for which a type II integrating sound level meter was used as an instrument, which allowed finding the level of sound pressure to which the workers are exposed, likewise questionnaires were used to find the level of stress and noise. On the other hand, for the statistical analysis of the data, it was carried out with the SPSS software and the Chi square test in which it was obtained that there is a statistically significant positive association between occupational noise and stress in workers of the hot asphalt plant. of Oropesa 2020. It was found that the personnel working at the asphalt plant are exposed to high noise levels with a value of 90.6 dB(A), which exceeds the LMP considering an 8-hour workday, which is 85 dB(A), in three of the four work areas, high noise values were determined.
