Studies to improve the properties of concrete in fresh and hardened are more frequent because concrete is the most used material. This is the case of the study of new methods and techniques vibration concrete consolidation; this has allowed the Self-consolidating concrete(SCC) to develop. This thesis aims to make a comparative analysis of the properties of workability, time sets and compressive strength of Self-consolidating concrete (SCC), conventional conventional concrete and concrete superplasticizer additive 1% and 2%. The concrete was made with Portland cement IP, fine aggregate Cunyac and Huambutio, coarse aggregate ½“ Vicho and additive superplasticizer SUPERPLAST Chema, the Self-consolidating concrete(SCC) was designed with the Okamura-ouchi method andconventional concrete with the ACI method. Workability is divided into three properties for better characterization: capacity step, filling ability and resistance to segregation. Bending time is determined with the Vicat test needle. The compressive strength was evaluated by briquetting subjected to compression at 3, 7, 14 and 28 days. These properties will be evaluated for each type of concrete so as to determine if theSelf-consolidating concrete(SCC) is the most viable solution to the problem of vibration and crabeater in concrete Depending on the results obtained in chapter IV the conclusions and recommendations are presented, showing that the Self-consolidating concrete(SCC) has better working properties than conventional concrete and conventional concrete superplasticizer additive 1% and 2%, time to forge SCC is greater because to improve their fluency and maintain the water cement ratio, the amount of cement per cubic meter increase. As for the compressive strength Self- consolidating concrete(SCC) resistance reaches designed at 28 days, but this is overcome by conventional concrete and conventional concrete with superplasticizer additive 1 and 2%.
