The City of Cusco is one of the cities of Peru with more tourist attractions and it should be noted that it maintains a Historical Center of great wealth in terms of patrimonial and tourist value. This is why the present study focuses on the conservation and protection of the Inca walls that remain in the city. This research will be responsible for studying the reaction and past and present actions of the population for their proper care and maintenance. The contents of each of the chapters of the following research are detailed below: CHAPTER I: Problem Statement, which is stated in the description of the problem and its current situation. It also contains the objectives to be fulfilled, the justification and delimitations. CHAPTER II: Theoretical Framework, which consists of developing the background of the research, legal bases, theoretical bases, documents and international letters related to the preservation and preservation of heritage, the conceptual framework and the formulation of the hypothesis. CHAPTER III: Methodological, which describes the types of method that have been developed in the present study. So also the level and design. Population and sample. Techniques and instrument. CHAPTER IV: Statistical Results, in which the analysis and interpretation of the results of the surveys carried out to the residents of the chosen streets of the Historical Center of Cusco is developed. CHAPTER IV: Discussion, Conclusions and Recommendations, includes different alternatives for the improvement of the protection of cultural heritage in Cusco, especially towards the Inca walls located in the streets of the Historical Center of Cusco.
