The present research work entitled “FACTORS RELATED TO THE FERROPENIC ANEMIA IN CHILDREN OF 6 - 24 MONTHS WHO COME TO THE CONCHACALLA HEALTH PLACE - ANTA, CUSCO 2018“ Whose general objective was: To determine the factors related to the Ferropénica Anemia in children of 6 - 24 months that go to the Health Post of Conchacalla - Anta, Cusco 2018, the methodology was quantitative, descriptive, correlational, transversal, the sample was conformed by 76 mothers of children of 6 - 24 months, the collection technique was the interview and the observation of the clinical histories and the instrument was the survey and the documentary observation guide. The general characteristics of mothers, 49% are between 21 - 25 years old, 54% are cohabiting, 54% have secondary, 53% are housewives, 53% generate monthly between s / .400 to 599. The type of iron deficiency anemia prevalent in the Community of Conchacalla was: Of 100% of children only 10% have mild iron deficiency anemia. Regarding the biological factors and their relationship with iron-deficiency anemia, the results were: Age of the child (p = 0.049 <0.05), sex of the child (p = 0.214 <0.05), birth weight (p = 0.006 <0 , 05). Regarding dietary factors and their relationship with iron-deficiency anemia, the results were: Breastfeeding (p = 1,955 <0.05), time of breastfeeding (p = 0.048 <0.05), complementary feeding (p = 0.006 <0, 05), micronutrient intake (p = 1.050 <0.05).
