This research paper finds its origin in a problem that arises is related to the excessive increase in juvenile crime. Hence, the minor offender, juvenile criminal justice and internment, is a current issue and of transcendental importance due to the increase in juvenile delinquency that it presents in our society, it should not be alien, facing crime and acting young people where knowledge about the causes and consequences of non-compliance with the Criminal Responsibility Law in children and adolescents is mostly absent. Minors and adolescents because of their immaturity and inexperience, are more susceptible to external factors that operate in them, when they commit illegal acts, the treatment for juvenile offenders must be education. The present study is framed within the quantitative paradigm and its main objective is to determine if the lack of knowledge of Punitive Norms influence the criminal offense in students of the Glorious and Emblematic Educational Institution “Manco II“ of the District of Santa Ana, The Convention Province, Cusco.
