In the present study entitled “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ON BARTONELLOSIS IN RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY OF MOCCORAISE CUSIPATA DISTRICT QUISPICANCHIS, CUSCO - 2017“, was carried out with the aim of determining the level of knowledge of Bartonellosis in residents of the community of Moccoraise Cusipata district. Quispicanchis, Cusco - 2017, had a design had a descriptive design, cross-sectional analysis, made in a population of 100 families of Moccoraise, which extract a probabilistic sample of 80 sampling units. Among the most significant results have to be: With regard to the general characteristics of the manipulators found the (38%) are between the ages of 1829 years, the majority are represented by the male (54%), (26%) of the population has a high level of education of complete secondary education. In terms of the level of knowledge about the identification of signs and symptoms of bartonellosis; the (41%) of the population stated that the signs of alarm are high fever, rapid breathing, weak pulse. On the measures of prevention; the (32%) of the people concerned to monitor and report the presence of a greater number of mosquitoes, the (45%) stated that to prevent den will participate in educational activities to learn more about the disease (workshops, trainings); the (66%) say that if you look at a person with possible bartonellosis shall inform the health center; the (48%) stated that with respect to the treatment it is recommended that urgent medical consultation.
