The main objective of this work was to compare the elastic modulus of the concrete prepared with traditional materials and the concrete prepared by replacing the coarse aggregate with rubble in addition to the inclusion of a superplasticizing additive through the compression resistance tests according to and determination of the elastic modulus. In concrete cylinders under longitudinal compression forces according to the AST C-469 standard, both under a design resistance of f'c = 210 kg/cm2 (ACI 211) and evaluated at 07,14 and 28 days after manufacturing . It is worth mentioning that in this research we used recycled concrete shell from sidewalk demolitions and rigid pavement. So 90 cylindrical cores were made in compliance with the NTP 339.183 and ASTM-C192 standards. Likewise, the physicalmechanical properties of the aggregates and rubble were determined from a comparative point of view. Based on the results obtained from the experimentation of this research, it can be concluded by mentioning that the values of the elastic modulus of both concretes present similar values and favorable behaviors at different ages. Likewise, it was possible to show that the behavior of concrete made with rubble with respect to compression resistance is favorable, despite the fact that the physical-mechanical properties presented by traditional coarse aggregate are different from the physical-mechanical properties of rubble; however, although it is It is true that the indices are different, these are close to the normal values parameterized for the preparation of a concrete mix and manufacturing design. Likewise, it was also demonstrated that the proportions of the components of traditional concrete and concrete prepared by replacing coarse aggregate with rubble and added with superplasticizer do not suffer substantial variations in terms of quantity, given that the quantities of cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate are similar. for a cubic meter of concrete according to its mix design, which does not occur with the amount of water, since its variation is considerable
