The objective of this thesis is to determine the current state of the flexible pavement of the Izcuchaca - Huarocondo road, applying the Pavement Serviceability Index (PSI) and the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) methods. For the determination of the PSI, the surface regularity of the road was measured using the Merlin roughness meter, carrying out 18 tests based on the ASTM E867-06 standard (Standard Terminology Relating To Vehicle - Pavement Systems). The field work of this method consisted of recording the elevation and depression data that the pointer adopts on the Merlin Roughometer board. For the determination of the PCI, the visual diagnosis of failures was carried out in the CIVIL 3D program for the 12 sampling units applying the PCI method, based on the ASTM D6433 - 07 standard (Standard Practice for Roads and Parking Lots Pavement Condition Index Surveys ). The work for this method consisted of making a survey of georeferenced images with the help of the DRONE, and then taking it to the office and making an inventory of failures, recording their severity and quantity. From the study carried out, an IRI of 4.87 m / km was obtained for the right lane, which represents that the Pavement is in a “Bad” Rating Range and for the left lane an IRI of 4.14 m / km, which represents that the Pavement is in a Rating Range “Bad”, a PSI of 2.11 m / km was also obtained for the right lane which represents that the Pavement is in a “REGULAR” Rating Range and for the left lane a PSI of 2.38 m / km was obtained which represents that the Pavement is in a “REGULAR” Rating Range The result of the pavement condition index of the Izcuchaca-Huarocondo road was 45, which represents that the Pavement is in a “REGULAR” Rating Range, therefore, the road needs a REHABILITATION intervention.
