Nivel de conocimientos de los cirujanos dentistas sobre la atención odontológica en pacientes con endocarditis bacteriana, Cusco-2021

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimientos de los Cirujanos Dentistas sobre la atención odontológica en pacientes con endocarditis bacteriana, cusco- 2021 Material y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo, transversal la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, con un tipo de estudio no experimental, cuya muestra fue no probabilístico constituida por 265 Cirujanos Dentistas de la Región del Cusco en el año 2021. Para Determinar el nivel de conocimiento se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y se elaboró una encuesta/ cuestionario que constaba de 20 preguntas cerradas que fue validado mediante juicio de expertos. El instrumento se evaluó el nivel de conocimientos de etiopatogenia, epidemiologia y farmacología y profilaxis antibiótica para prevenir la Endocarditis Bacteriana. En pacientes que acuden a una atención odontológica y los califico como deficiente, regular y bueno. Resultados: EL 86.4% de los Cirujanos Dentistas presentaron un nivel de conocimiento regular, mientras el 13.2% de los Cirujanos Dentistas con un conocimiento deficiente y solo el 0.4% con un conocimiento bueno. Las secciones donde los cirujanos dentistas obtuvieron los mayores puntajes fueron farmacología de la profilaxis antibiótica de Endocarditis Bacteriana. En cambio, en las secciones de etiopatogenia y epidemiología fueron donde se obtuvieron los menores puntajes. Con el estudio se concluye que el nivel de conocimiento de los Cirujanos Dentistas sobre la atención odontológica en pacientes con Endocarditis Bacteriana en la Región Cusco es regular.

The present job had as objective: To determine the level of knowledge of dental surgeons about dental care in patients with bacterial endocarditis, Cusco- 2021 Material and method: Descriptive, cross-sectional study, the research has a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental type of study. whose sample was non probabilistic constituted by 265 Dental Surgeons of the Cusco Region in the year 2021. To determine the level of knowledge, a literature review was carried out and a survey/ questionnaire consisting of 20 closed questions was developed, which was validated by expert judgment. The instrument evaluated the level of knowledge of etiopathogenesis, epidemiology and pharmacology and antibiotic prophylaxis to prevent Bacterial Endocarditis. In patients who attend dental care and I qualify them as poor, regular and good. Results: 86.4% of the Dental Surgeons presented a regular level of knowledge, while 13.2% of the Dental Surgeons with poor knowledge and only 0.4% with good knowledge. The sections where the dental surgeons obtained the highest scores were pharmacology of the antibiotic prophylaxis of Bacterial Endocarditis. On the other hand, the etiopathogenesis and epidemiology sections were where the lowest scores were obtained.

With the study it is concluded that the level of knowledge of Dental Surgeons about dental care in patients with Bacterial Endocarditis in the Cusco Region is regular.
