The present research focuses on identifying the significant effects caused by the addition of base gel 200 and 280 in silty soils, subjected to different laboratory tests. The general objective of this research is to determine the effect of the addition of Base Gel 200 and 280 on the dry density, cohesion and capillary rise of the silty soil of the PAV La Victoria, San Sebastián, Cusco. The research methodology has a quantitative approach, correlational level, hypothetical-deductive method and experimental methodological design. For this purpose, soil was extracted from three exploration pits to obtain samples from APV La Victoria, district of San Sebastián, Province of Cusco, with the purpose of experimenting with said soil in the laboratory, such as determining the plasticity index. liquid limit, moisture content, modified Proctor (optimal moisture content), cohesion, dry density and capillary rise, following the instructions of the materials testing manual of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. For this, we began by obtaining soil data without alter. After completing the previous tests, the base gel 200 and 280 is incorporated into the soil. The collection of data related to the addition of base gel 200 and 280 begins with the objective of supporting the hypothesis about its effects on the dry density, cohesion and capillary rise of the silty soil of the PAV La Victoria, San Sebastián, Cusco . This research for data analysis was developed with a D-Optimal experimental design, achieving an optimal design of 33 samples composed of silty soil with percentages of 0%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% of base gel 200 and base gel 280. Likewise, statistical analysis was used as a tool for data processing (analysis of varianceANOVA), which allowed us to obtain statistical results. In order to reach the conclusion, the results of the study do not support the hypotheses about Gel Base 200 and Gel Base 280 having a significant impact on the dry density and cohesion of silty soil. However, both gels have a significant effect on soil capillary rise, with Gel Base 280 showing a greater impact than Gel Base 200. These results indicate that the gels can influence certain soil properties, which has important implications for their use in specific applications.
