In this research, we evaluate the pluvial sewage system of the Av. De la Cultura in the section: Garcilaso - Rio Cachimayo. As a result of the evaluation, a proposal of a design is formulated that will allow a more efficient operation of the system. For this purpose, we realized the inspection of the main manifold and tributary collectors, the location of the sumps and inspection covers of the main manifold. The contribution flows were estimated with a 25-year recurrence interval, by different methods such as: Rational Method, Burkli Ziegler and Mac Math. The calculated design flow was the estimated with the Rational Method. The solid transport volumes were also evaluated, estimating a bottom solid entrainment volume of 0.215 m3 / m-s. As a result of the investigation, it is proposed the widening of the cross-section of the main manifold, using a rectangular channel of concrete. Likewise, it is proposed the resizing of sedimentation structures and the increase in the number of sinks in 21% of the existing ones. The hydraulic operation of the proposed system was simulated through the SWMM software version 5.0 that allowed to adjust the originally proposed design. Being the existing one an old system, we recommend the evaluation of the different channels contributing to it.
