Introduction: The impact of returning to presential classes on the mental health of students cannot be underestimated. Objective: To identify the relationship between the return to presential classes post COVID-19 and anxiety, stress and depression of Human Medicine students at the Universidad Andina Del Cusco in the semester 2022 -I and 2023 -I Materials and methods: The study is observational, analytical, co-relational, longitudinal and prospective. The information is collected through a validated survey- type questionnaire in the same group of students at two different times and the relationship between the presence of anxiety, stress and depression in them with the return to presential classes is analyzed. For statistical analyses, univariate analysis will be performed, with descriptive statistics, bivariate using the Friedman test and Kendall's effect size, and multivariate using GLM. Results: Depression and anxiety have a value (p<0.001) so they are different in the semester 2022-I and 2023-I (significant difference). The effect size for the Friedman tests indicates that the difference between each disease, before and after the return to face-to- face classes, is not large; stress (<0.0001), depression (0.130), anxiety (0.131). Stress being the least powerful.
