The purpose of this research work was to identify the factors that affect the premature loss of deciduous molars in pre-school children of the I.E. N° 50227 San Francisco Javier, Quillabamba 2023. A study was carried out with a quantitative approach, descriptive scope and non-experimental, cross-sectional design where the sample was made up of 80 pre-school children from 3 to 6 years old, data collection was carried out through the survey technique and the questionnaire instrument developed according to the proposed dimensions. The results show that 28.7% of the minors studied are 6 years old, 52% of the minors are male, 47.33% have healthy teeth, 31.03% have cavities with dentin, 47.5% have low cariogenic risk, while 18.8% have a high cariogenic risk, 51.2% of the minors practice oral hygiene twice a day, 48.8% of the minors have the loss of a deciduous molar, while 7.5% have the loss of two deciduous molars. It is concluded that the factors that influence the premature loss of deciduous molars in pre-school children of the I.E. N° 50227 San Francisco Javier include dental caries, type of diet, oral hygiene and sociodemographic characteristics of minors.
