The present research work entitled “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE NURSING PROFESSIONAL IN PATIENTS WITH MECHANICAL VENTILATION IN EMERGENCY COVID, HOSPITAL NACIONAL ADOLFO GUEVARA VELASCOESSALUD CUSCO 2021“ had as its primary objective to describe the amount of knowledge of nursing professionals in terms of patients treated with mechanical ventilation due to the COVID emergency, Hospital Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco - Es Salud Cusco, 2021. Regarding the method, it was descriptive, nonexperimental, cross-sectional, and the study population was 40 nurses, who were evaluated through questionnaires of own elaboration Among the results, it is detailed that: 50% of those studied within the Hospital have the defined age of 30 to 39 years, 77% have studies in academic degrees, 50% have 2 to 4 years of experience within the service, 60% % have experience in various areas, 42% have experience in private clinics and MINSA hospitals, and 92.50% have previous experience in ICU or emergency. On the other hand, 92.5% have good knowledge of mechanical ventilation, 87.5% have acceptable knowledge of mechanical ventilation management, 85% show great knowledge of sedoanalgesia in mechanical ventilation, 82.5% have knowledge about mechanical ventilation care, 85% have good knowledge about disconnection in mechanical ventilation and 80% have knowledge in the area of mechanical ventilation complications. In knowledge criteria, it is described that 77.5% demonstrate good knowledge in mechanical ventilation clone patients, 17.5% have regular knowledge and 5% do not have acceptable knowledge..
