The following work shows the analysis of data network of EPS. SEDACUSCO, in order to implement a Honeynet, to detect attackers’ suspicious activity passing through the honeypots, capturing their activities and enabling analyze the resources they use and their movements. The next document is divided into eight chapters, which comprise, the analysis of the data network, simulated environment design, testing, and results obtained by collecting the attacks in the testing phase. Chapter 1 entitled General aspects, explaining the problem formulation, the study objectives and methodology of the thesis. Chapter 2 entitled Theoretical Framework, this chapter shows similar studies by other universities and scientific theoretical bases which are the fundamental concepts to consider in the study of the subject. Chapter 3 entitled Analysis of the data network of EPS. SEDACUSCO, which show the network infrastructure data, noting the hardware and software used, and explaining their logical and physical topology are used. Chapter 4 titled Design Honeynet, in this chapter we present the selection of Honeypot used and its position within the data network. In Chapter 5, entitled Implementation of the Honeynet in the virtual network environment, we explain the creation of simulated data network environment that was made, the settings made and the implementation of the Honeynet. Chapter 6 entitled Testing, in this chapter the various tests are performed to test the functionality of the Honeypot and the results of this with CVSS metrics that are displayed. Costs incurred during the study is shown in Chapter 7. Finally in Chapter 8 we show the conclusions and recommendations obtained in the study.
