Methods: The methodology employed was based on the basic scope and observational design, cross-sectional, according to the chronology was retrospective and according to the scope of the results was of the descriptive correlational case; Likewise, the population under study was composed of patients attended in the thoracic and cardiovascular surgery service of the National Hospital Adolfo Guevara Velazco, a representative sample of 191 patients with diagnosis of Pulmonary Echinococcus and Granulosus Pulmonar was extracted; for the collection of information the technique of observation and documentary review was used and therefore an observation form was used as an instrument. Results: 53.40% were male, the highest percentage of patients with pulmonary hydatidosis were 40 years of age or older, 85.86% of the cases came from the Cusco region, the time of illness diagnosed in the highest percentage was less than 1 month (59.69%), the main source or symptom was given by chest pain with 31.66%, the diagnosis of western blotting was given by western blotting, and the diagnosis of pulmonary hydatid disease was given by western blotting with a percentage of 31.66%, the diagnosis of pulmonary hydatid disease was given by Western blotting was given by western blotting. 66%, the western blot diagnosis was reactive in 19.90%, likewise, the diagnostic aid used in the highest percentage was chest tomography, the surgical technique applied in most cases was lobectomy (43.98%), in most of the patients there were no intraoperative and postoperative complications. Conclusions: The surgical therapeutic procedures related to postoperative complications of pulmonary hydatidosis were surgical technique and cyst location, according to Pearson's Chisquare test with a statistical significance of 0.000 < 0.01. On the other hand, the clinical characteristics related to postoperative complications were given by the time of illness for the particular case of immediate postoperative complication, according to the statistical significance of 0.000 < 0.01.
