The doctoral research aims to identify the factors associated psicofamiliares choosing vocational school, students of the Andean University of Cusco, 2014 II study conducted with students from the first cycle of the fifteen vocational schools offering college. a survey in order to identify the psychological and familial factors that are associated with the choice of vocational school was applied. The validity and reliability of the instrument was made through expert judgment. The quantitative research approach, correlational descriptive scope, with no experimental, cross-sectional design, the purpose was to determine the phenomenon of choosing the vocational school. We worked with a sample of 224 students. For data processing descriptive and inferential statistics were used, The results suggest that there are statistically significant relationships because data from p- value of 0.00 <0.05 therefore states that the psychological factor associated the choice of vocational school, in the family factor that is a p-value <0.05 earned therefore we can say that the home environment and the level of parental education are associated with the choice of vocational school factors, SES whose value is p-value> 0.05 conclude that it is not a factor associated with the choice of vocational school students from the Andean University.
