Nowadays the malocclusions are the most frequent pathologies in the mouth cavity, for his diverse factors, the above mentioned alteration can cause functional, muscle, aesthetic, gastric, psychological problems in the patient. This study seeks to find the prevalence of malocclusions and variants for sex and age. With a sample of two hundred an children from 08 to 12 years of age of both sexes, belonging to the Educational Institution N ° 50166 Amparaes de Calca of the city of the Cusco.. There was realized a descriptive, transverse study, observacional clinical indirectly, the sample was selected by sampling type probabilístico random simply. The alterations were evaluated using the classification according to Angle and anatomical variations The results indicated that the prevalence of malocclusions was 92.0 %, malocclusions Class I is 78.1 % to the age of 11años 19.4 %, followed by Class the III 7.5 % at the age of 11 and 12 (2.0 %) and Class the II 6.5 % 10 years 2.0 %; In three types of malocclusions there was major prevalence in the masculine sex 51.3 %. With regard to the anatomical variants: 45.3 % presented overcrowding in the top arcade, 51.7 %, alteration in the spacing in the low arcade, 39.3 %, alteration in the Overbite, 81.6 % alteration in the form of low arcade, 37.3 % alteration in the facial profile anteroposterior and vertically.
