The main objective of this study was to evaluate mandibular and condylar asymmetry according to the Kjellberg technique in panoramic radiographs of patients from 18 to 35 years of the Luis Vallejos Santoni Stomatological Clinic. Methodology: This research work is a quantitative study of a descriptive level, non-experimental, observational, and retrospective. The sample consisted of 208 virtual panoramic radiographs according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and was extracted from the database of the Luis Vallejos Santoni Stomatological Clinic of the Andean University of Cusco which were examined according to the Kjellberg Technique through the Corel Draw 2018 program, where straight lines were drawn and gained the means required to find the asymmetry indexes S1 and S2. Results: 208 panoramic radiographs (137 women and 71 men) were analyzed, obtaining the highest percentage of the study sample for the age group of 18-23 years (51%) and the lowest percentage for the age group of 30- 35 years (14.9%). 39.4% of the sample studied exhibited condylar asymmetry, and 38% of the sample studied shown mandibular asymmetry. The highest percentage of condylar and mandibular asymmetry was for the female sex concerning the male sex, according to the chi-square statistical test this association was not significant p = 0.548 (p> 0.05) means that the condylar and mandibular asymmetry is not associated with sex. The highest percentage of condylar and mandibular asymmetry was for the age group of 18-23 years, and the lowest percentage was for the age group of 30-35 years perceiving a tendency at greater age asymmetry decreases, according to the chi-square statistical test. This association was not significant p = 0.211 (p> 0.05), which suggests that condylar asymmetry and mandibular asymmetry are not associated with age.
