This research is focused on the analysis and proposals for improvement in the Avenue of Avoidance of the city of Cusco, applying the methodology of Road Safety Inspection (ISV) of the manual of road safety MSV-2017, in order to improve the performance and use of the road, that is why a road safety inspection (ISV) was carried out to make a proposal for improvement taking as study tools the checklists and table of post-inspection findings through which it was possible to evidence the actual failures. Likewise, the application of an ISV based on the MSV-2017 manual, involves the collection of filed data through the inspection check lists provided by the MSV- 2017 manual, which consists of the systematic verification of the entire road in terms of identifying possible problems. By performing a road safety inspection using the MSV - 2017 we optimized the road safety of the Avenue of Avoidance of the city of Cusco“, according to the results in the table of findings of the Road Safety Inspection observed in the appendixes and in Chapter IV where postinspection analysis is located, in Figures No. 70, which refers to the speed of circulation on Av. de Evitamiento and Figures No. 76 and 82 that refer to the post-inspection percentage of the main road left and right respectively through a Road Safety Inspection, where the proposals for improvement that are indicated in section4.3 were these are directly related to the deficiencies found in the table of findings based on the “MSV - 2017“ that uses the inspection sheets to determine the current state of a road infrastructure. On the other hand, according to the data observed in the speed study carried out, in section 4.1 Figure 70 it is observed that there are 84% of vehicles that exceed the maximum allowed speed making the road more unsafe for pedestrians, and 16 % that if it respects the maximum allowed speed, for which speed reduces and signs will be implemented. With the results obtained it was possible to propose solutions to improve along the avenue that will allow us to solve the problems of accidents and vehicular conflict that presents the avenue, according to the studies carried out through statistical tables that allows us to see what are the necessary actions to signal and / or have a constant maintenance of the road.
