Maternal complications in patients diagnosed with bleeding in the second half of pregnancy attended at the Hospital Antonio Lorena Cusco 2019, research whose objective is to identify maternal complications in patients diagnosed with bleeding in the second half of pregnancy, being this descriptive, cross-sectional, with quantitative approach, retrospective. Results: Age between 19 to 34 years 59.58%, secondary education level 56.38%, cohabiting 58.51%, housewives 55.32%, prenatal care controlled in 64.89%, 53.19% had two pregnancies: the causes of bleeding were placenta previa 61.71%, premature detachment of the placenta in 25.53%; complications are anemia 25.53%, emergency cesarean section 85.10%; coagulopathies 7.45%, hypovolemic shock 1.06%, respiratory failure 3.19%, renal failure 1.06%, liver failure 1.6%, the presence of uterine atony in 4.26%, of the cases studied in 1.06% a hysterectomy was performed and there were 4 cases mortality representing 2.13%. Obstetric behavior was a record of complete vital functions 64.89%, a record of double venous catheterization was 8.51%, a clinical examination was recorded in 100%, a strict maternal-fetal monitoring was performed in 64.89%, 54.26% a record of vaginal bleeding control, 85.11% registered water balance, in 96.81% laboratory tests were requested, the request for the deposit of blood was in 4.13%, in 85.10% the preparation for the operating room is registered.
