The general objective of this research was to analyze the implication of social confinement by COVID - 19 in violence against women in the district of Santa Ana, La Convención, during the year 2020, it was postulated as a general hypothesis that the implication of confinement by COVID - 19 in violence against women in the district of Santa Ana, The Convention, during the year 2020, was to place them in a more vulnerable situation. The research was qualitative, of a legal dogmatic type, the hypotheses were validated and the main conclusion was that the implication of social confinement by COVID - 19 in violence against women in the district of Santa Ana, La Convención, during the year 2020, was to place them in vulnerability. Likewise, of the samples that made up the investigation, there were 10 files, complaints that were entered at the beginning of the pandemic, between the months of March, April and May, and a documentary analysis sheet was used for data collection. The reasons why social confinement by COVID 19 produced greater vulnerability of women in the district of Santa Ana, La Convención, during the year 2020, such as personal stress, economic dependence on their aggressor, were determined. The fear of reporting for fear of retaliation, added to it the ineffectiveness of Legislative Decree 1470, which establishes measures to guarantee the care and protection of victims of violence during the health emergency, and that said execution was not ineffective in the District of Santa Ana. The fundamental recommendation is addressed to the Provincial Municipality of La Convención, so that it promptly set up a home of refuge, since through this, the personal integrity of the woman victim of family violence in her home can be guaranteed and safeguarded. In the same way, recommend to the National Police of Peru, greater priority attention to women with repeated cases of Family violence, as well as the immediate execution of Protection Measures, according to Legislative Decree 1470.
