The present research aims to identify and describe the perception of sexuality and gender of fourth and fifth high school students of mixed public educational institutions in the district of Cusco, the sample is made up of 297 students from the following educational institutions: Simón Bolívar (28), Vicente Chavez (30), Jorge Chávez Chaparro (29), Humberto Luna (93), Luis Vallejo Santoni (33), The Incas (12) and San Francisco de Borja A comparative descriptive design, the questionnaire on the perception of sexuality and gender, validated by expert judgment, was used for data collection. The results show that fourth and fifth grade students present a conservative perception, here we observe that women are more conservative, while males are more liberal. In relation to each subvariable, fourth-graders are more conservative while fifth-graders have a liberal perception of the couple's perception of contraceptive use in terms of intercourse. In addition, about the perception of love and infatuation in the sexual practice are conservative in similar proportions in both grades, finally we conclude that they are more liberal in the perception of the homosexuality.
