In this thesis benchmarking cement mortar and mortar type I was performed withreplacement of Type I Portland cement with pozzolan quarry Ccocha with respectto Portland cement IP, performing various tests, all respecting the NTP, RNE,MTC and ASTM, for testing. Pleasantly was obtained at 28 days of age, the bending adhesion, resistance tocompression and bending of mortar prepared with replacement of 28% of thepozzolan, “exceeds employers“ however fluency seen “ decline “of it. The results of laboratory analysis of the gravel quarry Ccocha, showingpercentages suitable for use as a pozzolan cement was evaluated reactivity cement type I appreciated from 28% pozzolan replacement decreasing in itsresistance mechanics and results pozzolanic activity index is “this being 143.74% higher than the NTP standard 334.090 which indicates at least 75%”. Subsequently the specific weights of type I cements, IP and replacements Type I Portland cement with pozzolan quarry Ccocha percentage of 15%, 28% and 40% (experimental) was evaluated. The results “comply with ASTM C 188-95 standard, which indicates between 2.9 to 3.15 g/cm3. As can also be seen in Figure No. 08,28% specific weight is equal to the rate IP standard”. Then the compressive strength of cement mortars Portland Type I, IP andexperimental assessed by cubes of 5 cm side , under constant compressive forcewhich met with the NTP 334,051 , concluding that “28 days of the samples (blocks) , the mortar prepared with 28 % replacement pozzolan , reaches aresistance of 36.37 MPa , which is a value greater than the standard“. And the flexural strength of Portland cement mortars Type I, IP and experimentalthrough prisms 4cmx16cmx4cm , concluding also assessed that “after 28 days ofthe prismatic sample , mortar made with replacement of 28 % pozzolan reaches8.83 MPa resistance , which is a value greater than the standard“. Subsequently, the flexural strength of adhesion was evaluated by prismaticsamples consisting of 5 masonry units (batteries), made with Portland cement Type I, IP and experimental, which complied with the NTP 334 129, concluding that “the 28 days of age of the batteries, prismatic samples, mortar made with Portland cement type I and 28% replacement of pozzolan gives us the best resistance with an increase of 1.04 kgf / cm2 but the pattern made with Portland cement mortar IP type“.
