Nivel de conocimiento sobre la importancia de la dentición mixta en madres de niños de la I.E. 50941 Construcción Civil, Cusco - 2022

Abstract

Es común que los padres de familia y/o. tutores o apoderados de menores de edad, no estén completamente informados sobre la importancia de la dentición mixta y no presten la atención necesaria a la salud dental de los menores durante esta etapa crítica de desarrollo dental, por lo cual, es importante que se eduquen sobre la dentición mixta y su importancia, y estén atentos a cualquier problema dental en sus hijos durante este período. Por tanto, el objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la importancia de la dentición mixta en madres de niños de la I.E. 50941 Construcción Civil, 2022. La investigación fue de corte transversal, prospectivo y observacional, diseño de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental y descriptivo. La población y muestra estuvo compuesta por 108 madres de familia (108). El nivel de conocimiento sobre la importancia de la dentición mixta en madres de niños fue moderado, mientras el nivel de conocimiento sobre la erupción y exfoliación de dientes en las madres fue bajo. Por otro lado, el nivel de conocimiento sobre la dentición mixta en las madres fue moderada y el nivel de conocimiento sobre la importancia de la dentición mixta en madres fue moderado en todos los grupos de edad, estado civil y grado de instrucción, siendo mayor en el grupo de edad de 18 a 24 años, en las madres solteras y con grado de instrucción secundaria.

It is common for parents and/or guardians or representatives of minors are not fully informed about the importance of mixed dentition and do not pay the necessary attention to the dental health of children during this critical stage of dental development, for which they must educate themselves about mixed dentition and its importance and be on the lookout for any dental problems in your children during this period. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about the importance of mixed dentition in mothers of children of the I.E., 50941 Civil Construction, 2022. The research was cross-sectional, prospective, observational, quantitative, non- experimental, and descriptive. The population and sample consisted of 108 family mothers (108). The level of knowledge about the importance of mixed dentition in mothers of children was moderate. In contrast, the level of knowledge about the eruption and exfoliation of teeth in mothers was low. On the other hand, the level of knowledge about mixed dentition in mothers was moderate. The level of knowledge about the importance of mixed dentition in mothers was reasonable in all age groups, marital status, and level of education, being higher in the age group from 18 to 24 years, in single mothers and with a secondary education degree.
