The research LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF HIP DYSPLASIA APPLIED BY NURSING PROFESSIONALS IN THE NORTH NETWORK, CUSCO 2021. Its objective was to determine the level of knowledge in the identification of hip dysplasia. Descriptive, cross-sectional design, with a sample population of 44 nurses, as a technique the interview and the structured questionnaire instrument. Results: About general characteristics, 50% are over 46 years old, 98% are women, 34% work in CRED for less than 6 years, 43% have no training on hip dysplasia, 79% work in urban areas and 77% are appointed. For knowledge, 77% know the risk factors, 88% are unaware of the discard maneuvers at 4 months, 59% know the discard maneuvers in neonates, 81% know the position to evaluate, about the Ortolani maneuver 75% do not know the position of the hands, 66% do not know the joint movement and 75% know the result, for the Barlow maneuver 57% do not know the position of the hands, 68% do not know the joint movement and 59% do not know the result, 61% know the “click” sound ”, 50% are aware of the abduction limitation, regarding the Galleazzi sign, 72% are unaware of the position of the extremities, 68% are unaware of its evaluation, 59% are unaware of the Rose Nealtone line, 68% are aware of how to assess the gluteal folds, 68% are aware of the muscle tone, 79% are unaware of the lines on the hip X-ray, 64% recognize a dislocated hip, 64% are unaware of the consequence. 25% have a fair level of knowledge and 75% have poor knowledge.
