The present investigation had as general objective to determine the results of the validation and application of the integral rubric to evaluate the competences of the clinical practice of the undergraduate students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco, reason for which developed an investigation with a quantitative approach, being for its purpose an applied investigation and with a pre-experimental design in which the study sample consisted of 240 students and 729 scores obtained with the integral rubric in the clinical subjects of the Luis Vallejo Santoni University Stomatological Center of the Universidad Andina del Cusco for the validation of criteria, as well as it was made up of 22 experts who for the validation of the content of the instrument and the KMO Test and Bartlett's sphericity were used for the validation of the construct. The data for the research were collected through survey, observation and documentary analysis techniques with their corresponding tools: the validation sheet, the CORPA integral rubric and the qualification sheets obtained in the clinical practice competencies of the subjects evaluated. The results of the research show that the comprehensive rubric presents sufficient content, criteria and construct validation to guarantee its application, which yielded favorable results in the posttest in favor of the use of the integral rubric and its positive effect on the development of clinical practice competencies of the students in the study sample.
