Rúbrica integral para evaluar competencias en la práctica clínica de la Escuela Profesional de Estomatología de la Universidad Andina del Cusco 2022

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar los resultados de la validación y aplicación de la rúbrica integral para evaluar las competencias de la práctica clínica de los estudiantes de pregrado de la Escuela Profesional de Estomatología de la Universidad Andina de Cusco, razón por la que se tomó la decisión de desarrollar esta investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, siendo para su propósito una investigación aplicada y con un diseño pre experimental en el que la muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 240 estudiantes y 729 puntuaciones obtenidas con la rúbrica integral en las asignaturas clínicas del Centro Estomatológico Universitario Luis Vallejo Santoni de la Universidad Andina del Cusco para la validación de criterio, así también estuvo conformada por 22 expertos para la validación del contenido del instrumento y se usó la Prueba KMO y esfericidad de Bartlett para la validación de constructo. Los datos para la investigación fueron recolectados a través de las técnicas de encuesta, observación y análisis documental con sus correspondientes herramientas: la ficha de validación, la rúbrica integral CORPA y las fichas de calificaciones obtenidas en las competencias de práctica clínica de los sujetos evaluados. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que la rúbrica integral se presenta suficiente en contenido, criterio y validación de constructo que garantiza su aplicación, lo que arrojó resultados favorables en el post-test a favor del uso de la rúbrica integral y su efecto positivo en el desarrollo de competencias de la práctica clínica de los estudiantes de la muestra de estudio.

The present investigation had as general objective to determine the results of the validation and application of the integral rubric to evaluate the competences of the clinical practice of the undergraduate students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco, reason for which developed an investigation with a quantitative approach, being for its purpose an applied investigation and with a pre-experimental design in which the study sample consisted of 240 students and 729 scores obtained with the integral rubric in the clinical subjects of the Luis Vallejo Santoni University Stomatological Center of the Universidad Andina del Cusco for the validation of criteria, as well as it was made up of 22 experts who for the validation of the content of the instrument and the KMO Test and Bartlett's sphericity were used for the validation of the construct. The data for the research were collected through survey, observation and documentary analysis techniques with their corresponding tools: the validation sheet, the CORPA integral rubric and the qualification sheets obtained in the clinical practice competencies of the subjects evaluated. The results of the research show that the comprehensive rubric presents sufficient content, criteria and construct validation to guarantee its application, which yielded favorable results in the posttest in favor of the use of the integral rubric and its positive effect on the development of

clinical practice competencies of the students in the study sample.
