In the present research, we verify if the competences of the graduate profile from the Professional Graduate Law School of the Universidad Andina de Cusco befit the demands of the labor market of Cusco, in order to recognize which are the specific competencies that this profile must contain to address the expected demands. This investigation is relevant because frames the work of the Universidad Andina del Cusco as producers of human capital inside the labor market. Therefore, it evaluates both the student's formation and his graduation profile based on the competencies that employers expect from graduates of the Law School. To carry out this study, a survey was conducted in which three questionnaires were applied: one addressed to 20 teachers, another to 20 students and finally one to 15 employers from the city of Cusco. The instrument evaluated the performance of graduates in three areas (basic technology, specialized training, and pre-professional practice). The results obtained showed that the graduates present difficulties to be developed in certain areas of Law such as constitutional and administrative law . Likewise, there is a lack of skills to apply what has been learned in practice. Therefore, we conclude that the Professional Law School of the Universidad Andina de Cusco should adjust and adapt some of its competences to what is required by the labor market.
